'Yunkang 10' is the result of systematic selection breeding by the Tea Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, originating from the Nannuoshan group of tea species. Its remarkable qualities led to its recognition as a provincial-level fine variety by the Yunnan Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee in 1986, followed by national-level recognition from the National Tea Tree Variety Approval Committee in 1987. 'Yunkang 10' boasts a high yield and excellent quality, surpassing the control group in terms of drought and cold resistance. Additionally, it exhibits exceptional resistance to tea disease. The buds of 'Yunkang 10' are plump, showcasing a vibrant yellow-green color and a profusion of fine hairs. A single bud with three leaves, comprising one hundred buds, weighs approximately 120.0 grams, demonstrating remarkable tenderness. The spring tea of 'Yunkang 10' contains significant amounts of valuable components. A dry sample consisting of one bud and two leaves reveals a content of 3.2% amino acids, 35.0% tea polyphenols, 4.6% caffeine, and 13.6% total catechins.
